'Gardens of the Mind'

Given that we (Arts Excentrix) are exhibiting at The National Wine Centre that sits in the beautiful Adelaide Botanic Gardens, this exhibition title seems particularly pertinent.

The architecture of the building is really stunning. With red ochre render and bowed ship like struts it creates a very imposing corner structure to the back drop of the Australian native section of the gardens. Inside it is all sleek corridors and ramps with large function rooms that open onto garden courtyards. Within this, there are two wide gallery corridors ' The Vines' on the ground floor and 'The Gallery' on the upper floor. Our exhibition takes in both these spaces. The majority of my work hangs upstairs with large windows overlooking the gardens and light streaming in at either end.
